We have the scoop on the lineup for Orange's A Night In Nashville 2.0

November 29, 2022

By Peter Holmes

The lineup for the second A Night In Nashville series of honky tonk concerts will be announced in coming days, but The Orange News Examiner has got the scoop on who will be supporting headliner Robbie Mortimer.

The shows are on Friday February 10 and Saturday February 11 at the showground and old Agricultural Pavilion, with tickets on sale on Thursday morning (details below).

The Friday night show (5-11pm) will feature Mortimer, Clancy Pye, Jake Davey and Abby Christo.

The Saturday show (5-11pm) will see Mortimer supported by Luke Furbank Band and Bella Mackenzie, with one more artist yet to be announced.

There will also be line dancing.

The event is a celebration of American country music, and the venue will again be decked out with festoon lights, hay bales, neon signs, food vans and a mechanical bull.

The first A Night In Nashville concerts in December 2021 were sold out, attracting 800 people over the two nights.

Promoter Tim Mortimer has upped the capacity for each night in 2023 to 600.

Robbie Mortimer was announced on Monday as a top 10 grand finalist in the 43rd Toyota Star Maker competition, at Toyota Park in Tamworth on January 15, 2023.

Tickets for A Night In Nashville go on sale at 10am Thursday Dec 1 via eventbrite.com.au.
