A house in Orange on 670 square metres has sold for $1.8 million.

The six-bedroom, four bathroom period home (circa 1930) at 58 Prince Street had been given a top-drawer makeover by builder Duncan Baird.

It features an open plan living area, butler's pantry, self-cleaning in-ground pool, plantation shutters throughout and an office/studio space off the garage.

According to real estate site Domain the property sold in 1994 for $135,000 and in 2010 for $392,000.

The property was listed on April 9 before being withdrawn.

It was then put back on the market and sold on November 11.

Recent Orange sales to also crack the $1 million mark include 6 Anthony Crescent, a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home on more than 1,500 square metres, which sold for $1.24 million on November 17.

10 Tinnock Place, a seven-bedroom, five-bathroom home on over 2,000 square metres, sold for $1.57 million on November 4.
