The church held its first service on February 8, 1998. According to a YouTube video produced by the church, this service was held at the art gallery, and 27 people attended.

The church then moved to the Red Cross building and to the PCYC. Then to Charles Sturt University and the Orange Conservatorium.

It then moved into its current home, a former factory at 8a Little Brunswick Street.

Associate pastor Malcolm Taylor, whose wife Jill Taylor is also an associate pastor at the church, says in the video that the church had $10,000 in its building fund at the time, but the site cost $850,000.

The source of the other $840,000 is not revealed in the video, but associate pastor Malcolm describes it as "a real miracle".

He said part of the church's raison d'etre was "outreaching to the unsaved and also outreaching to the nations".

"Right from the beginning we were giving a lot to missions, the church was sowing a lot into missions," added associate pastor Jill.

The lead pastor at the church is Daniel Taylor. According to the video, wife Jo Taylor is also a pastor. The fifth pastor at the church is Joel Taylor.

Comment on future plans has been sought from the church.
